PURPOSE

The purpose of this assignment is to (a) explore and present an information technology used in the

a healthcare system that supports the patient care experience and (b) develop the skills of team

communication, collaboration, and production.

Requirements

1. For this team project, students will be assigned by faculty into teams of three to five individuals

depending upon class size.

2. Teams will receive a project grade based on an assessment by the project rubric, which will then be

applied to each individual’s grade for the project minus points for lack of participation in the

development or presentation of the project.

3. The process of the project and final presentation will be directed by the Team Charter

constructed in Week 2 of the course and coordinated through the “Team Collaboration” tab in

the learning management system landing page for the course (under the “Week 8” menu tab on

the left of the page)
