Objectives
Develop a simple web database application or investigate alternative
technologies for database web applications.
Requirements
Complete one of the following two options:
1.
OPTION I (Recommended for Students in
Web Development)
This is a continuation of assignment 5. Develop a simple web application with
php on the library database your created in the earlier assignment to
demonstrate the interaction between the front end web page and the back-end
database. Your application should include operations for data retrieval, data
insertion, data update and data deletion on table book. Each web page should
have your name clearly displayed. You should provide proper screenshots to
cover all features you have completed.
2.
OPTION II (Recommended for Design and
Non-IMG Students)
Other than Php and MySQL, there are other options/frameworks /platforms for a
web application to access the back-end database. Research these options, select
one or two of them to present how they work. Compare your selected option(s) to
Php & MySQL to describe the pros and cons of each. Make sure you properly
present your work. In addition to the report body, it should include but not
limited to a proper cover page, a table of content, and references.
