Grading is a hot topic in education. Teachers tend to grade
students the way they were classified when they were a student (remember
what Carol Ann Tomlinson said a couple of pages ago about change?).
Respond to the second half of this page (Assigning Grades) by discussing
how the principles discussed can (and will) be implemented in your classroom
to make grading fair. Don't create a laundry list that is unrealistic to
