Professor Streterstein is a bit absentminded. His instructor's grade book is a mess, and he would like your help cleaning it up and making it easier to use. In Professor Streterstein's course, the maximum possible points a student can earn is 750. The following table displays the grade equivalent to total points for the course.
Help Professor Streterstein rework his grade book. Download and open the Module 6 Excel Start File. Then modify it with Excel according to these directions. You will upload your modified file to the link provided in this Canvas assignment
- Put your name in call B2 of the Formatting Grades worksheet (0.25)
- Replace the data in the Total Points Earned column with a formula that sums each student’s points (1.0)
- Use the VLookup Function to automatically assess final grades based on the total points column and the Grade table in the Grade Table worksheet. (3.5)
- Using the If Function, create a formula so each student's grade shows the words Pass or Fail based on 750 total possible points and >=60% is passing (3.5)
- Formatting (1.75)
- Put a thick border around the table’s headings (0.25)
- Put a thick vertical border between student names and their grades (0.25)
- Change the heading row’s text (all but student name) to be Angle Counterclockwise Orientation (0.25)
- Put a thick border around the entire grade table (0.25)
- Format grades and Total Points Earned to only display one decimal point and adjust columns widths to be more reasonable (0.5)
- Left Align the student’s points and Total Points Earned, and increase indent by one (0.25)
