Introduction
The Course Project for GEOG 109 is designed to bring together the knowledge acquired through lectures
and laboratory exercises and allow you to apply it to your surrounding environment using real-world
examples. The project is composed of 2 main parts: a virtual field trip to the South Okanagan and the
production of your own 4–6 minute video.
Project Requirements ▪
This is an individual project.
▪ The video (or total for 2 separate videos) must be at least 4 minutes in length but no longer than 6 minutes.
▪ Possible topics: geological structures, hillslope processes, weathering processes, karst
landscapes, fluvial geomorphology, glacial and periglacial geomorphology, coastal
geomorphology, desert geomorphology. You may check with your course instructor for
additional unlisted topics.
