This assignment shall contribute 20% of the overall evaluation. For this assignment, you are
required to form a small group (2-3 members) and complete the following tasks in FOUR
weeks.
Task 1: Each group is required to select ONE real-world application for a service provider or
business organization. You need to study the details of the selected application (process
flow/logic, users, data requirements, etc.). You need to produce a flowchart for the proposed
application logic.
Task 2: Each group is required to create the client page and PHP server pages for this
application. The client page is used to support user interactions (input). The PHP server pages
are used to execute the application logic and generate output.
Task 3: Each group is required to produce a report for the assessment of this assignment. The
report should meet the following requirements.
Report structure: proper breakdown of sections (Introduction, Processes, Requirements, User Interfaces, Conclusion, References, Appendices)
Main title (top of first page) and subtitles (sections) must be bold and UPPERCASE.
Text formats: can use Arial / Calibri / Times New Roman, font size must be 12. Paragraph formats: single (1.0) line spacing and justify alignment.
Page formats: size is A4, all margins are 1 inch (2.54cm), page numbers at the bottom.
Figures: Good quality pictures/diagrams with proper labels.
References: Harvard referencing (Optional).
Appendices: Client page (HTML codes) and PHP server pages (PHP scripts).
Number of words: 2000-3000 (from Introduction to Conclusion, excluding the codes)
