Topic Sentence - In Toronto, foreign-born people make up nearly half of Toronto’s population, which is 6, 082, 425.

Evidence - The racial composition of Toronto is 50.2% white, 40.5% East Indian, South Asian, Black, Etc., and 9.4% is Latin American, West Asian, Arab, Etc. 

Explanation - In a city as large as Toronto, different races and cultures are guaranteed to be seen each and every day. Having 20+  cultures in one city is an amazing accomplishment.

Topic Sentence - Toronto has a large community in relation to great cuisine, and a night you are not going to forget.

Evidence -  Three amazing restaurants in Toronto go by the names of “Mysteriously yours,”

“ Medieval Times,”  and “ Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse.”

Explanation -  Each of these restaurants provide a different outlook on entertainment from different eras. Mysteriously Yours provides a fun murder mystery during your 3-course meal, at Medieval Times, you enjoy an exhilarating jousting tournament while chowing down on a 4-course meal, and at Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse you are seated and treated to a show performed by samba dancers and gymnasts while enjoying a buffet-style meal.

Topic Sentence - There are countless entertainment options to see right in the heart of Toronto.

Evidence -  Three popular entertainment options in Toronto is the CN Tower, Ripley's

Aquarium and the Toronto Zoo.

Explanation - At the CN tower you can climb all the way up to the top and have dinner over a breathtaking view of Toronto. At Ripley's Aquarium, you are exposed to over 450 species of sea and freshwater aquatic life and at the Toronto Zoo, over 5,000 animals are being protected on over 700 acres of land.

Counterclaim - There might be an abundance of entertainment in Toronto but it comes at a high cost.  Toronto is becoming increasingly unaffordable for an immigrant family to visit any of the high-cost entertainment sights.

Rebuttal – It is true that entertainment in Canada’s largest city can be expensive, but it’s good to know that many of Toronto’s world class museums offer free admission during certain days and hours.  There is always the world-famous St. Lawrence Market and Kensington Market where browsing is free. Also, Toronto offers many options for getting back to nature with walking and hiking trails.
