Your proposal should include describing the research question, proposed econometric methodology, and data summary (data sources, graphs, descriptive statistics, and descriptive report). The project should focus on some question that requires econometric analysis. (In international economics and open-economy macro- economics)You may already have some such question in mind, or you can read some paper in your area of interest, evaluate the use of econometric approach there and extend it by either using a similar technique for a different data set and/or by applying additional econometric tools. The paper should be in a format of a journal article with an introduction, main part that describes the data, the model, the econometric approach and provides the results (usually in the form of graphs or tables) and discussion or conclusion; a list of references should be provided.
