Personal Profile and Career Vision

Riley Thomas is a 22 year old man. He is suffering from development disability and visual impairment. He is very friendly in nature.

Family:- Riley has a father and mother died 4 years ago with heart attacks and one younger sister. He has one girl friend with whom he always share everything.

Qualities: -He has visual impairment but he can easily recognize shapes, colors, large landscapes. He is also good in computers technology. He is very caring person with a huge intelligence. He can also travel by himself with the help of cane.

Accommodation: -He use assistive technology to work on computer. As he is visually impaired, he use zoom text and narrator while dealing with technology.

Work History: -He worked as a greeter in a museum as volunteer. But he got limited hours to do volunteer here. One thing that helps him a lot in this museum that he get chance to make new friends and improve his communication skills. Nowadays, he spend time in a day program which is organized by Gandhi serving society. He wants to wander outside but due to shortage of staff so he has to remain inside the building.

Interests: - He love history and he watches a lots of historical movies especially he wants to know more about various acts which effects the life of people with disability. He also like eat various dishes from different traditions. He loves to develop community around’s him.

Vark Questionnaire: -This test isused to know about the learning style of person.

Values Questionnaire: -Values questionnaire test simply used to know about what’s important for a person.

Holland code quiz:-Holland quiz is used to reveal about person’s skills, social, environment, realistic regarding work conditions.

Personality test: - It is simply used to get knowledge about the person’s behavior and their feelings and judgement level.

Transferable skills Assessment: - Transferable test is used to reveal the person’s present skills which can be used in future work.

Ø  Vark Questionnaire tool: - Riley want to learn more by hearing because of his visual impairment and he got 0 score in visual test and also in reading and writing. However, he got 14 in aural test.

Ø  Values Questionnaire tool: - Riley preferred to make more money and this idea motivate him to do more work. He give more value to travel different cultures and places. He tries to change opinion of others by his thoughts and he does not feels comfortable under strict rules and regulations because he loves freedom. Thomas prefer to work in those conditions where he get more affection.

Ø  Personality test tool: - Riley scored more in extrovert nature and least in intuitiveness. He also has feeling involved in his work near about 30%.

Ø  Holland code Quiz: - In this quiz, he scored more in social. He got similar score in artistic as well as investigative. He got least in conventional environment.

As it is mentioned that he love history and ty to set information though travelling this thing clarify that he is more interested in social interaction.
