Assignment Overview
The purpose of this assignment is to familiarize students with the situation analysis process and format. In completing this assignment students will:
● Use a 5 C or PETSLE approach to conduct secondary research on KPU.
● Develop a SWOT chart to summarize their findings.
● Reflect on their learning.
Objective
To aid students in developing an understanding of and ability to perform a thorough situation
analysis.
Procedure To complete this assignment:
1) Using links below and KPU Library resources, conduct a situation analysis for KPU.
2) Use the situation assessment worksheet format below.
3) Using the information gathered, complete a SWOT chart for KPU (see the format below).
4) Include one (1) closing paragraph describing your experience in accomplishing this task – e.g. what were your expectations/how did you feel going into the assignment and did your expectations/feelings change? Explain
5) Submit your summary in PDF format to Moodle for instructor grading
