writing of high standard. On completion of this assignment students will:

 a. Identify potential ethical, social, and legal issues resultant from ICT developments.

 b. Prepare written and oral presentations on ethical, social, and legal issues pertaining

to ICT.

 C. Participate in team discussions on professional and ethical issues of ICT.

 e. Discuss an ICT solution in accordance with professional standards and codes

of practice


Description of the assessment:

You will be assessed on the extent to which you have achieved the criteria given in the Marking

Rubric given below for the following tasks. You are required to use good English expressions, correct

spelling, good punctuation and grammar and have proof read your work.


1. This assignment is based on the topic you selected in lab 7 and you are required to make a group

of 2-4 members from your lab class within your course to complete this assignment.

The topic list is given at the end of this document.

1.1. Group report should include the following

(you can include your lab work from week 7 to week 8 to complete these

sections) (Word limit 1000)

- Title

- Description / introduction (of the project)

- Background (include summary of all papers)

- References (IEEE style)

- Appendix - Include literature review of each paper with summaries of all group members

as an Appendix

1.2. You need to make a group based presentation on the topic chosen

- Prepare power point presentation (with 7 slides)

- Each group is given 10 minutes to present

- All group members should present

Use the following steps to develop a clear plan for your oral presentation

1. Research your topic: Collect information about your topic from numerous

sources. Your speech will be more effective if you can identify the key ideas and

concepts clearly.

2. Arrange ideas in a logical sequence: After you have researched about your topic, it

is important to carefully plan and organise your material logically.

You can use concept maps or mind maps to organise your findings.

3. Develop a plan: write your talk in full or in point form.

1. Your report should include the following:

 The cover page must identify student (name and number), teaching staff, assignment

number and project title.

 The assignment must use 12 point font size minimum and at least single line spacing

with appropriate section headings.

end in a reference list (List bibliography/references in (IEEE style).

2. The assignment must be submitted in soft (electronic) copy under Moodle. The pages of the
