Select a Case Study firm which is a major manufacturer of consumer electronics (such as
Logitech) or of vehicles (such as cars; motor bikes; electric people movers; mobility scooters
or industrial vehicles such as mobile robots or airborne drones).
The assignment is to develop an appraisal of the Case Study firm’s current situation and
enterprise growth opportunities in the first part. The second part concerns an investment
appraisal. The third part relates to business planning and budgeting. Prepare an individual
assignment (no shared work). Full references and sources of all materials must be stated.
Prepare a formal written report:
Prepare a Word document and write formally (i.e. avoid use of “I” or casual terms). Report to
comprise Title page and Parts 1 – 3 of 2,500 words maximum (excluding tables). Also
References and Appendices (case study financials etc..). Minimum 12 point font for text (9
for tables). For calculations show (preferably tabulated) formula; data; workings and results.
