Assignment: Explore Software Design
You’ve
been asked to create a new software product that is designed to help low-income
families find affordable housing. Using the provided software engineering
resources, create a project plan for how you anticipate creating this software.
You may create your own requirements, but try to stick with the basic rules of
how you think a system such as this would work.
Your
plan should include:
- What
general requirements will the system have? (Use images whenever
appropriate.)
- What
resources (technical and non-technical) will you need and when?
- What
risks (technical and project) will you encounter, and how will you address
them?
- What
Umbrella activities will you need to address?
- What
will your approximate budget and timeline be?
- What
do you anticipate being the management and technical constraints?
- What
ethical implications could exist if the information regarding this project
(especially user data) was compromised?
Your
submission should be at least 5 pages. All writings must be formatted properly,
and must have a logical flow and transition between them. The final submission
must be in APA format and contain a title page, table of contents, and
reference list. You are encouraged to use a tool such as EndNote or Bibtex to
assist with the citation process. Please include at least 3 external sources in
your submission.
Your
assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and
concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights
relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly
academic writing, current APA standards, and adhere to Northcentral
University's Academic Integrity Policy.
