A non-profit entity, like Northern County Legal Services (NCLS), goes through quite a bit of change. Most of that change cannot be predicted. There are obvious things that NCLS and the managers could do to become more effective, to empower their employees, and to better serve their clients. Assume you were the newly hired executive director of NCLS and have observed organizational development as detailed in the readings from the textbooks. As a Christian, what actions do you feel would be immediately necessary to (1) show the volunteer/employees, as well as the clients that they are important and (2), enact ethical, effective, and efficient leadership into this organization?
