Develop a workbook for some business or personal objective. The intent is to use many tools and features for various activities, such as providing information, improving some operations, simplifying or strengthening some tasks, etc.
Workbooks may be used to organize large volumes of details, forecast trends, compare
costs for various proposals, display information in graphical formats, streamline large
volumes of data for easier reviews, etc. Hundreds of functions are available, enabling
many operations on various types of data.
Whether you are starting a new business, joining a small start-up, or working for a large
organization, there are many similar needs. Everybody needs financing, employees,
products, services, etc. Business plans with current and/or projected customers,
products, expected sales volume, fees, etc. are very common. Quarterly and yearly
reviews are standard. A workbook is a reasonable tool for storage of data, creation of a
business plan, reporting of results, creating summaries for analysis and charts for
streamlined presentations, etc.
Keep in mind that every project has a “client” who will benefit from your work. The client
may be some organization, department, family member, or even yourself.
