The purpose of this doctoral level Leadership Theory paper is to: Select a theory or model from the leadership literature that has been utilized to describe or explain leadership behavior in a health care setting. Summarize the available information from both professional and scientific publications. Apply the theory or model to a health care organization with which you are familiar. Discuss the value of the theory or model for improving health care organizational performance (be sure to present the evidence). Describe any personal experience as a practitioner with the identified model or theory of leadership, and summarize both published and personal "best practices." Review your past Lifelong Leadership Inventory (LLI) results and reflect on whether the theory or model aligns with NCHL competencies and your own perspective and approach to leadership. Describe how your leadership style or behaviors should or shouldn't change, based on what you learned from the research completed for this paper.
