For your second assignment you are expected to write a response paper for one of the articles available in the Assignment File in regard to emotional labour. This paper is worth 20% of your overall grade and is 3-5 pages in length, not including title page or reference page. No late assignments will be accepted.

Definition:

 A response paper is an essay that conveys a student’s response to one specific aspect in a text that he/she has read. Research is not typically done for this type of paper. In a response paper, a text is interpreted and analyzed in a manner that is as concise as possible. The response paper has a point or thesis that focuses on a single idea or aspect of the work.
