The purpose of this assignment is to create an APA title page and reference list for a research paper.
Select a topic to research. You may use Google Scholar, the GCU Library, or other reputable websites to conduct your research. Use Lecture 2 for a description of what is considered a scholarly article.
Part 1
Use the “Reference List Template” to create the APA title page and preliminary reference list. Select 10 relevant references from within the last five years. Include at least one from each of the following types of references:
- Book
- Journal article without a digital object identifier (DOI) number
- Journal article with a DOI number
- Journal article with a permalink
- Website
- Dissertation or thesis
Part 2
Using your 10 references, create an APA style reference list on page 3 of the template.
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
