Description

What aspects of the story Alexander's birth (Plutarch 2 and 3, Cheshire p. 9-12) strike you as folkloric ? What aspects do you think have the most likelihood of being historical, or at least partially historical? Use as many specifics as possible from the entirety of Cheshire p. 9-12.

Each of the three posts should be 100-200 words; please refer to the discussion rubric to refresh your memory on the guidelines.

(NOTE THAT WHEN YOU ARE CITING AN ANCIENT SOURCE, YOU WILL NOT BE CITING CHESHIRE BUT THE SOURCE ITSELF. SO A REFERENCE TO PLUTARCH WILL BE "PLUTARCH 2" OR "PLUTARCH 3". YOU NEED NOT BE MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT THE FACT THAT IT IS FOUND IN CHESHIRE.)
