Where the governments action during the red scare justified? Why or why not The red scare was supported because they didn't need radicals here. General felt that on the off chance that we had radicals they would spread socialism through the United States. Additionally we started having an issue with foreigners approaching the U.S. They ousted a boat of radical foreigners in December 1919 to the "specialist’s heaven" of Russia. The red panic was justified however it was far it compelling.
