John Black, now a 16-year-old boy from a single parent home, has completed four years of a five-year disposition for the offense of possession of a firearm while on school property. John Black A Juvenile Wow, I can’t believe it has been four years! I also can’t believe what a pain I was. Thanks for not giving up on me. It wasn’t easy but I really did it. I really would like to talk to some of your younger offenders…. Maybe if I did, they wouldn't make the same mistakes I did. Probation Officer John, you have really turned around. I honestly did not think that you would, but you made the choice and you took advantage of what we offered you.

I am so proud of how you have grown up and matured. I am so glad that things are going better with your family. We have a mentoring program here that has older kids talk to the younger kids to try to convince them that they don’t want to continue to get into trouble. Is this something that you might want to do? Joann A Single Mom I am so proud of all the changes John has made. He has really turned around and is really helping out more at the house. I didn’t realize that he had this many issues, but being a single mom, I guess I just overlooked some things. Thank you so much for helping him and our family.
