Your proposal must include the following:
- Your topic and why you chose it
- A working thesis statement
- A brief discussion of the points you plan to make
- Potential rebuttals you might encounter
- What you want to learn from the research process
- Potential research sources
You can organize your proposal into headings or you can simply write a paragraph that addresses all of the above. Example headings could be:
- Topic
- Thesis
- Discussion & Rebuttal
- Research
Your proposal should be around 150 to 200 words in length. Please double space and use one of the following fonts:
