Write a critical analysis of your chosen text. Your analysis should include:
• a SHORT summary of the author’s argument (the main points or arguments) in your own words
• consideration of the evidence or information given to support the author’s arguments (what sorts of evidence are used?)
• consideration of the author’s position: what does it exclude? what does it show us?
• a discussion of whether or not the argument is convincing (and why or why not)
--- citations must be properly formatted using footnotes in Chicago Style
