Description

Did the United States media, or people, engaged in ethnocentrism as social justification for the war on Iraq? How? Has the United States media, or people, engaged in cultural relativism to negatively judge the culture of countries where supposed terrorists are from? How? What is your opinion on the following statement: “Might makes right. Poor countries are the prey and we are the sharks. They obviously couldn’t develop because they are culturally dysfunctional. Therefore, we are justified in using their cheap labor for our benefit and, if needs be, invade their country if we need more territory or resources.”
