1. (a) Generate a 10-kHz sinusoid sampled at 100 kHz. Plot four cycles of this signal. Also plot the spectrum of this signal in the interval (-π, π). 

(b) Decimate this signal by a factor of 2. Plot the time-domain signal. Also plot the spectrum of the decimated signal in the interval (-π, π). Comment on your results. What frequency does π represent now ? 

(c) Upsample the original sinusoidal sequence by a factor of 3. Plot the time domain signal. Also plot the spectrum of the upsampled signal in the interval (-π, π). Comment on your results. What frequency does π represent now?
