Student Registration and management system Your team is in charge to design and implement a student management system for Coyote University. The university has 3 colleges, Art, Business, and Sciences. In College of Art, consist following departments: languages, visual designs, music and theaters. the College of Business includes, accounting, finance, marketing and management. The College of Science has physics, chemistry, and biology. Coyote University has about 5000 students in various class level (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, and graduate). The university offers about 300 courses per term and 4 terms per year. The university has 3 buildings 15 rooms per building. Courses are scheduled in between 8:00am to 8:00pm, Monday through Friday. All these departments provide various records regarding students, instructors, and course schedules. Most of these track records need to maintain information about the students, instructor loads, and room utilizations. This information could be the general details like student name, address, performance, attendance etc or specific information related to departments like collection of data. For example, when a student needs his transcript, it needs to check many details about the student like name, student ID, year of study, list of courses with grade earned, number of transfer credits, and cumulative and overall GPA. Administrators using the system will find that the process of recording and retrieving students’/faculty information and managing their classes, including marking of attendance, is now a breeze. In general, this project aims to enhance efficiency and at the same time maintain information accurateness. Later in this report, features and improvement that allow achievement to this goal will be demonstrated and highlighted. Our work is useful for easy user interface. We are planning to utilize the powerful database management, data retrieval and data manipulation. We will provide more ease for managing the data than manually maintaining in the documents. Our work is useful for saving valuable time and reduces the huge paper work. Must be done on oracle express, provide the sql statements on a separate document, and an erd diagram.
