Write an essay  on ONE of the following questions and submit via eFundi only. ü You must use Chicago 17th footnote referencing and include a bibliography / reference list. Footnotes and the bibliography/ reference list are not included in the word count. ü The essay must use a minimum of THREE sources. A list of sources with links (on eFundi Resources or via the library website) is provided, although you may research further and use additional scholarship (kindly note: only academic sources). ü Use Times New Roman font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. ü Save your essay as a word document with HIST123, surname, student number and essay question choice stated clearly on the file name. Submit via eFundi only. ü Plagiarism is a serious offence and will not be tolerated. Any plagiarised assignment will receive a mark of zero and may result in NWU disciplinary procedures. Ensure that you use your own words. ü Late assignments will result in a penalty of 5% per working day, except in the case of approval from the lecturer for illness or other valid reasons.
