New Phase of our Learning: Group Work

You have now been assigned to a group of no more than five peers.
Moving forward, you will no longer respond to Discussion Forums as an individual. Instead you will 'brainstorm' ideas and topics with your peers and together you will create a response to the Discussion Forum topic.

Please refer to the "Working Within Your Group Guidelines" to understand how to work with group members, how you will meet, and determining a system that works best for you guys.

Discussion Prompt:

Consider Foreshadowing and Irony (literary element).
Using the Reader Response theory of literature (Schools of Criticism and Literary Theory), analyze Hurston's literature in terms of foreshadowing and irony. Your analysis of the elements used in Hurston's work must not be a summary but will be, instead, an identification of the exact phrases that represent foreshadowing and irony and how they both work together to create the reading experience, the meaning of the work (and yes, there can be multiple meanings).  Go deep, and when you feel that you all have gone as deep as you can, go deeper.

Post only ONE response for your entire group.
