Coventry University
It is a public research university in Coventry, England. The origin of the university can be traced back to 1843. The university got its status as Coventry university in 1992. The university enrolls 31,690 students in the year (2016/17) including 25,705 undergraduate students and 5,985 postgraduate students. With more than 29,000 students in 2017, Coventry Universit is the larger of the two universities in the city.
The Coventry university ranked among the top 200 universities in the world by T.H.E. University ranking. According to Guardian University Guide and the Complete University Guide, the university ranked among the top 12 universities in the UK. The university won the Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education in the Engineering and Technology. The University has won 'Entrepreneurial University of the Year' in the Times Higher Education Awards 2011.
